.:Whatta wonderful night!!!:.
It’s been almost a year since the last time I went to a gig for a gimik...
October 29,2004 (Friday, and that was last night)...Me and shine went to Party Central... we had plans before since August pa, kaya lang di matuloy-tuloy due to our very busy and hectic schedules...
Our original plan is to wait for Myra to visit Manila (dahil sembreak naman...)...pero di natuloy (for some valid reasons!)
It was Friday and Halloween Season...so I’m expecting a terrible traffic...and I told myself that I need to go home early so i can take a rest and prepare for one of the most awaited event (in my life?heheh!!!)...
I've gone home at exactly 7:00 p.m. While waiting for shine’s GO signal, I fixed myself already (di naman masyadong halatang excited noh?? hahahah...), I ate my dinner and took a bath...I prepared all the stuffs na kailangan kong dalhin, kundi lagot ako...hehehhe...
Shine texted me and told me that we’ll meet halfway...so she’s from Pasay and I’m from the city that never sleeps (hulaan niyo kung saan un!)...so we decided to meet at Quiapo...pero di namin alam kung saan doon...
It was already 10 o’clock when I texted Shine (ang tagal magreply, un pala naliligo), on where is the exact place we’re going to meet...but she says that she was thinking of the easiest route...so I decided to fetch her on their house so it would be easier for the both of us..and she replied "OKAY!"...
Habang nakasakay ako ng jeep (SM City, Manila)... she texted me “Girl, let’s meet halfway, Quiapo at 10:30” ...Ohmagad, it’s already 10:15...I was thinking that she was on her way to Quiapo...kaya bumababa ako ng SM, para lang tawagan siya..then, she texted me again..”Sige wait na lang kita dito sa bahay, Ingat!”(Haaaah! Ang gulo…heheheh!!!)...so sumakay ako ulit ng jeep...
Inabutan ako ng katakot-takot na malas... may sunog sa bandang Taft...kaya bumper-to-bumper ang traffic... It was already 10:22, shine texted me again “Girl, nasan ka na?”..I replied “I’m still here at NBI Building in Taft”...then she replied “What? Ang layo mo pa!”...so I told her “Okay, ill wait for you at McDonalds Pedro Gil branch”...and finally she agreed...I waited for her...eh ang traffic nga..so i think, it’s already 10:40 na...super late na kami...hehehehe...
Di naman ako masyadong pinaghintay ni shine (labs ako nyan eh..)...finally dumating na siya...pinagbuksan ako ng pinto and WALLAAHHH!!! Ang ganda ni Shine..parang di niya masyadong pinaghandaan ang gabing toh...heheh (but I’m expecting that she was accompanied by somebody.. pero wala lang!)...
While in the Taxi..we were bombarded with so many text messages, wishing us Goodluck and Enjoy the night!...parang birthday??? hahahahhaha! pero nakakatuwa, though we‘re not with some of our closest friends...their presence were still there..expressing their support for our common favorite (the only reason why we exist!)..heheheh..at tinuturuan pa kami, on what to say and how to say it..heheheheh..si shine naman, eh nahihilo na hindi ko maintindihan, pero ang daldal, daming kuwento at harutan at tawanan lang kami habang nasa taxi...likas na yata sa amin un eh..heheh..
Passed 11, we’re already at the venue, we heard King singing..so we hurried up..buti na lang di namin nakalimutang magbayad sa taxi..hahahahha..JOKE! The place was so nice.. and as we get inside the venue, we're welcomed by the stewards and King said “Welcome to Party Central, enjoy your night!”, but he didn’t recognized shine (and me)..king's wearing a red bat's wings balloon (costume!heheh..)
But we wonder bakit walang entrance fee??? so we asked the waiter bakit ganun? and he said "it was only for that particular night lang"..heheh..medyo nakatipid kami dun ha!..heheh (what a lucky night huh!)
Before taking our orders, we took the tissue paper and we hurriedly wrote our request for King..The song was INCOMPLETE!..kahit kinanta na ni king on first set, kinanta niya ulit..we dedicated that song to some of our friends online na hindi nakapunta for that particular event..and the other reason, it was shine’s and King’s favorite song..(dun lang nalaman ni king na nandun kami, coz we choose to stay on the side, not too near on the stage, he asked us to wave our hands for him to see us!...nakita din kami sa wakas!hehehehe)
So we enjoyed the night.. we enjoyed every song King sang.. shine and I we’re dancing in our place..(nahihiya daw kami to dance on the dance floor! Pero DAW!)..
Pagkatapos kumanta ni king, pumunta kami sa backstage, at doon sila nagdaldalan (King and Shine)..AKO? wala akong nasabi, kahit ano..hehehe..pero ang gaganda ng topics nila, I just listen to them.. and I got the chance to meet King’s mom, and she was so generous at sobrang approachable..
Pero di doon nagtatapos ang lahat..pauwi na kami, habang inuulan kami ng text messages ni myra.. I told shine “Girl, pakisagot mo naman ung message ni myra oh!”..and she said “Okay!”...(I’m looking for something inside my bag). But as far as I know, mas matangkad sa akin si shine..and I wonder bakit biglang nawala si Shine sa paningin ko.. until I saw her picking something on the floor while laughing and says “grabe un girl ha..masakit!” Bigla akong natawa, dahil tumayo siya with poise..at tawa ako ng tawa.. some of the stewards were smiling at us! And says “Thank you maam, come again!” while giving us naughty smiles..Shine replied "Kaya nyo yun?"hahah!...and I said, “Okay lang siya, 4 bottles of strong ice lang naman kasi ang inubos niya...at magsuot daw ba ng pagkadulas-dulas na sapatos..hahhaah!”..and shine was laughing, me as well..tawa kami ng tawa.. (KASI NADAPA SI SHINE!!!)..pero carry nya ung sarili niya...buti na lang di siya nakita ni Mr. Edge, kundi? siguro to the rescue un..and i was just thinking kung papano niya ire-rescue si Shine...JOKE! Ang saya talaga...
Yun lang muna for now..many things happened pa, things that i don't think should be published on public/online journal like this.. full stories were written on our own personal diaries..memories to keep..we didn’t bring cameras for a change.. but what we have are those memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives..pictures of happiness and joy we shared (together with king) that night were all placed deep in our hearts.. and knowing the person that I never expected to be like that nice and humble..for me, di ako nagkamali ng pagpili sa kanya..He's still the same person as I knew him, the first time i met him..and I think, he’s better now..isang tao na kahit sobrang pagod, di nawawala ang ngiti..at di nakakalimutang tumawag sa Diyos!...King wud like to thank you guys for the support, and sharon for the gift..heheh!
--While i'm writing this journal, shine texted me and told me that she saw king on master showman wearing our present for him..of course, we're so flattered and thankful esp. Shine, that he really appreciate our presents for him..MORE POWER!!!
