.:King by request '06 (Valenzuela):.
The time I heard about the news na magkakaron sya ng mini-concert sa Valenzuela.. There are some questions came into my mind.... Would this concert break his first major concert last year in Music Museum??... Ano ang intro nya?? Saan sya papasok?? Lilipad ba sya or Tatalon sa stage, as what the music and performing icons of US (like Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and his super favorite Usher, etc.) did on their own respective concerts..
Weird no?? pero naniniwala kasi ako na, an artist can put everything what's on his mind if he did what he wanted to do or what would be the outcome of his ideas... If he is satisfied, it is a good sign that he is highly creative...and if not, highly creative pa din pero craving for more, expecting more and exploring more, sa kung ano pa ang pwede at kaya nyang gawin.... that he is not just an observant but a creator on his own.
For years of following his career through his gigs, shows, guestings and concert... Akala ko, ang King na kilala ko eh kilala ko na nga talaga... pero hindi pala.... He can smile, laugh, jam and being friendly with all his fans and peers... he can even show off his creativity by being fashionisto... he can sing songs that we use to hear in his own rendition and giving life to it at bagong kiliti sa mga kanta (na kahit na tipong di mo favorite 'yong song before, magiging favorite mo sya)... Pero marami pa syang naiisip na lagi naman nagbibigay sa amin ng surprises, kasi laging meron bago sa kanya.
But what made this show different, is that, ito ung masasabing "SI KING ANG CONCERT"... bakit ko nasabi ito??...lahat ng ideas that came out on that show is from the wildest imagination of our very own Edge of RNB (as ever).
Truly, Edge nga sya... dahil from the layouting of the tickets, posters, tarpauline, banners, etc... sya ang gumawa.... isama mo pa dito ang ang pagiging musical director, stage director at creative director basta director eh pinasok nya.... Pero hindi ito ang first time nya na magdirect ng show na ganito, he also made Randel's show in Batangas a great success under his creative direction.
I may say that no one can stop King of putting himself in showing His Edge of abilities and talents and still exploring, experimenting and learning more in the entertainment industry.
KING....HERE WE COME
Rainy Saturday (August 8). Pero hindi ito ang nakapag pigil sa amin para manood ng show ni King sa Valenzuela... It's entitled King by Request, wherein all requested songs are being played.. All of our favorite songs we wish King to sing. We are asked to wear white tops by Ate Arvee, para daw magandang tingnan..hahah!! oo nga naman, maganda nga tingnan kung uniform in white kami..heheh!!!
The group prepared for so many surprises... basta ang dami nilang plans for that particular day. As we get there, madami din kaming mga pinagdaanan na hindrances sa street..heehhe!! such as traffic as expected kasi Saturday and heavy rains.
Pero sa Valenzuela eh wala namang ulan.... yon nga lang nung nandun na kami sa venue, as we enter the gate... eh bumuhos ulit ang malakas na ulan...
Akala namin eh nagstart na si King... pero good thing din, dahil hindi pa naman nagstart ang show... pero ang dami ng tao sa loob...
....BARES ALL
It was his third time that Valenzuela,Bulacan requested him to perform Live... and it's obvious that he got so many fans in Bulacan... the crowd patiently wait for this great event to come... and it's worth it, kasi talagang pinaghirapan ng production ang show na ito.
The show started with great lights as The Band Called Rush do the front acts, each singer of the band including their new keyboardist (Jeff) respectively, sang their favorite songs in their own versions.
Then, the violinist--JC Moya's performance is absolutely awesome...hahahah!! meron nagka-crush sa kanya dun..hahah!! kaya naman todo ang picture kay JC Moya... Ang galing ng intro nya sa first song ni King... (Can't really remember the title..heheh!!)...
But lights played tricks.. di namin napansin ang pagpasok ni King with his backup dancers.. The 'Heartthrob dancers' who are consist of goodlooking guys and pretty girls (heheh! may nagseselos...hahahah!!).. Well, they really performed well.. nagulat kaming lahat sa pagiging versatile ni King when it comes to dancing, esp. with the "When your Mad" song....hahahah!! lahat yata kami eh gising ang diwa ng mga oras na yon... dahil sa most controversial and most talked about dance moves...hahahah!!! at dahil na din sa mga side comments sa gilid namin...hahah!! King performed really great.
Kaya naman sobrang nagkakagulo kami sa mga upuan namin...hahahah!! as in 'yong di namin alam kung tatayo kami o uupo na lang kami...hahaha!! basta, ang galing galing!! (clap, clap!!)
Then a duet with Randel...pareho pa sila ng getup ni king...hahahah!! talagang super idol nya si King... The kid showcased his potentials... bumaba din sya when he sang his solo (True, orgininally sung by Ryan Cabrera)... and infairness, mas may bodyguards sya ha...hahahah!!!
The crowd turned crazy and mad when Nina and King sang "My Boo".. tapos kinanta ni Nina ang hit single nya na "Love Moves in Mysterious Ways"... lalong naging maingay sa concert... Nina is so sweet..
King sang some of the 80s songs (includes Superstar, Part-time Lover and Rock With You, etc...) . He also sang , You Remind Me, Gallery (favorite ni Myra), etc... And a line-up from The Reason I Exist album (Will You wait for me, MAYBE and Ba't di Mo Pagbigyan).
Syempre, the final song is Never Say Goodbye!! WOW!! as in Wow talaga... hhaha!! lahat kami, gusto naming lumuhod sa harap nya when he was singing this song...hahah!! Basta, super galing!!
As a fan, I'm still hoping to see more of his performance at iba pang potentials na prini-preserve nya...hahah!! Such a wonderful show King!! Keep it up! More Power and God Bless!! :)
